This novel tells the story of a girl, Ana, who has just moved to the United States from Argentina. She does not speak English, despite having taken it in high school in Argentina.

When she starts at her American high school, her first class is math. It’s there that she sees Harrison, the all-American boy with the good looks, the friendly personality, and a potential crush on her! It’s just like the movies she watched back home.

And then, in ESL class, there’s Neo, a boy from Greece who is also new to the United States and learning English. He is thoughtful and understands what she’s going through in this new country, missing home and feeling lost. And he might have a crush on her, too.
