Ms. Jody Chamberlin

Ms. Chamberlin is in her 14th year of education. She grew up in Vermont and loves that she is working in her home state. She has lived and worked in NH, CA, and NC but loves VT the most. She has been at WMHS for eight years now. While she has taught 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th while at WMHS she is very excited to start her new role as Co-Coordinator of Student Support.

When she is not working she likes to read, especially young adult and fantasy. While she does enjoy watching TV and getting sucked into other worlds in novels and cinema, she also likes to get outside and enjoy all the nature that VT has to offer.

She was accepted into the Transatlantic Outreach Program and spent two weeks in Munich, Nuremberg, Geisa, and Berlin Germany in the summer of 2019. She got to experience education, history, environmental studies, and immigration topics. It was a life-changing opportunity. Then she spent a week at the Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute studying in Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown Virginia.

She has completed her first triathlon in July 2019 and is looking forward to next year and beating her previous time.

Ms. Danielle Kidder

I was born and raised in the central Vermont area.  I attended Williamstown High School in 2000-2001 as a junior in high school.  This was a huge transition for me from Spaulding where I had known my peers since kindergarten, but the WMHS staff made me feel comfortable and assisted in easing my anxiety.  I lived in the Upper Valley area from 2002 until 2015 working for the Windsor School District and Windsor County Head Start as a preschool teacher and resource provider.  I also worked as an Assistant Recreation Director, where I coached Girls on the Run, Soccer as well as organizing and running programs for safe bike riding, green up days, and the Harry Marden basketball tournament.  I traveled back to the area where I grew up to marry my best friend from high school.  Upon returning to my area I began working for Washington County Family Center.  In this role I worked with toddlers and families through the family works program.  I had my second child, my son in 2017 and decided to stay home with him while continuing my education.  I completed my Bachelor's program during the pandemic, graduating in 2020. Since graduating from NVU I have worked in intensive needs classrooms as well as also working at the learning together center in Barre VT.  I am so looking forward to getting to know the Williamstown students and families and offering support in any way I can.

Mr. Paul Smith

Paul works as an experiential outdoor educator, facilitating opportunities for students to explore the natural world. His interest in Farm to School stems from previous experience working as a farm manager, a meat cutter, an active gardener. Currently, his homestead produces fruits and vegetables, eggs, maple syrup, rabbits and all things sheep-related. He strives to provide meaningful, hands-on experiences where students challenge themselves to grow outside of their comfort zones. For nearly ten years he has worked with youth in a variety of settings including the wilderness, traditional school and public schools.
