Ms. Jody Chamberlin
Ms. Chamberlin is in her 13th year of teaching(2020-2021). She grew up in Vermont and loves that she is teaching in her home state. She has lived and worked in NH, CA, and NC but loves VT the most. She has been at WMHS for seven years now. While she has taught 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th while at WMHS she loves being a part of the 6/7 team. She loves her job and likes to make sure that her students are reaching performance indicators in Global Studies but also working on the Habits of Success.
When she is not working she likes to read, especially young adult and fantasy. While she does enjoy watching TV and getting sucked into other worlds in novels and cinema, she also likes to get outside and enjoy all the nature that VT has to offer. Her favorite series is Marvel and she is looking forward to Phase 4.
She was accepted into the Transatlantic Outreach Program and spent two weeks in Munich, Nuremberg, Geisa, and Berlin Germany in the summer of 2019. She got to experience education, history, environmental studies, and immigration topics. It was a life-changing opportunity. Then she spent a week at the Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute studying in Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown Virginia. During the summer of 2020 she did a lot of reading and preparing for the 2020-2021 school year.
She just completed her first triathlon (July 2019) and is looking forward to next year (this year was canceled so now 2021) and beating her previous time.
