Hello!

I am in my 24th year here at WMHS.  I didn't start my career here as a Teacher Librarian; I taught high school English for the first 15 years of my career before moving over.

I live with my husband, 12-year-old son, and fluffy cat, Baxter.  I am the chair of the  Green Mountain Book Award Committee (the state's high school book award).  I play bassoon in the Vermont Wind Ensemble, and I like to cook.

My favorite part of my job is recommending books to people--finding that just-right book for everyone.  I believe that there is something that every person would enjoy reading, and I love helping them to find it.
